Conditions Of Participation
By submitting your registration you accept and acknowledge the following conditions of participation:
Registration confirmation
Upon receipt of your registration, you will receive a registration confirmation via email. The official registration confirmation, including an invoice, will also be sent via email. Please inform us, if you need your receipt sent to you via postal mail.
Place and Duration of the Event
Please refer to the individual workshop descriptions for detailed information on place, duration as well as start and end times of the events.
Tuition & Fees
Participation fees are payable immediately and without deduction on receipt of invoice. All fees are subject to value-added taxes at the prevailing rate. In addition, common regulations for payment transactions apply. Participation fees include workshop materials as well as meals (beverages, refreshments, lunch and evening reception).
Cancellation Policy
- no fees up until 8 weeks prior to date of scheduled event
- 20% of the workshop tuition 4-8 weeks prior to date of scheduled event
- 100% of the workshop tuition 4 weeks prior to date of scheduled event
The nomination of an replacement participant must be submitted at least 2 days prior to the date of the scheduled event.
Cancellation of Events
Please note that the organizer reserves the right to cancel an event for organizational reasons. Confirmation of the registration does not represent a legal claim on the accomplishment of the event. HLMC may cancel events, if the minimum attendance is not met, or any complications occur, which are outside of the control of HLMC. In exceptional cases (e.g. illness of the speaker, force majeure) the event may be cancelled at short notice before the event. In such cases, HLMC will promptly seek to establish an alternative date. If HLMC cancels the event, fees which have already been paid, will be reimbursed. Further legal claims, e.g. reimbursement of job absenteeism, travel costs, or hotel expenditures, will not be met.
Hotel Reservations
HLMC will contract room blocks and negotiate preferred rates at the venue of the event. All participants are required to make their own hotel reservations as well as their own payment arrangements directly with the hotel. The event organizer cannot be held responsible for providing hotel rooms at a discounted rate..
